Hello – I am Heather Hamlet. I was born and raised in a small town near Plymouth, Massachusetts. I am a Boston sports fan, beach lover, live music enthusiast, and recent transplant to Tampa, Florida.

My career spans multiple industries, including financial services, employee benefits, logistics, and healthcare. The projects I’ve enjoyed the most were those that let me create engaging presentations and impactful visuals. Of all my experiences, my most rewarding roles have been in healthcare—particularly in rehabilitation and exercise physiology. Though I’ve stepped away from direct patient care in recent years, I miss the human connection and the opportunity to support patients in their recovery.

In a post-covid conversation I discovered an opportunity to merge creativity with my professional path. UI/UX design has the power to positively impact companies across every industry. For me, pursuing this career path has been a way to return to work that emphasizes human connection. From the moment I began, I’ve embraced the journey and enjoyed every step.

I am most proud of my Healix Solutions Case Study and I encourage you to read it. In the coming years, I expect electronic whiteboards to become standard in healthcare facilities, improving the patient and visitor experience while easing staff burnout.
